That's right me! I was jumping rope, and I land on my feet wrong, and my right knee twisted, and I heard a crunch. I couldn't put pressure on my right leg without my knee cap coming out, and my whole leg collapsing. So after waiting about 2 hours for a ride to the ER, they think I tore the muscle connecting my hamstring to the back of my right knee. So I have to wear this leg immobilize. They didn't wanna give me crutches at first, because they thought I'd be able to walk with that on, but I couldn't.
Plus after we got back home, I fainted a few times. Man, let me tell you, that was one of the oddest feelings I've ever had. It kinda feels like your brain is shutting off, but in a wave, so it starts on one side of your head, and crosses to the next, when it reaches the end, you passed out, and woke up on the kitchen floor, I don't even remember falling. I also have to go get an MRI, so there's a chance I might have to have surgery.
So that's how I spent Wednesday night.
Did you faint from the pain? Does it hurt that much? =/
Hope you get better soon. :o
Yeah, fainting is weird. The falling is the part I'd rather not repeat, though.
I remember almost passing out when I was young, after getting an injection and really not liking that idea. I think I remember everything got dark and became sort of spotty, a bit like when you get up too quickly. I sat down and put my head between my legs to get some blood in there. I never actually fainted, but it was a strange sensation, like falling asleep, or having alcohol in your blood, dulling your senses.
@Svoboda Well my hill climbing, coupled with lowering my caloric intake, is working, I've lost close to 20 pounds so far.
@tekchip LMAO! Though it'd probably get more like -50, since I can't use one of my legs at all.
Get well soon bud...keep us updated.
Bad luck but at least you get more game time in!
Get better, bub.
