Beat the game! Not much of an ending, but I don't think the first two had any either.

Turns out there was an extra rank I could have gotten, guessing by leveling up more. Anyone know what that would do?

Alternate Ending Message Beat the game with Mario, Luigi, and Bowser all being at least Level 40
Alternate Ending Message Beat the game with Mario or Luigi at level 17 or lower

that help?
@timyadeadhomie That's it? That doesn't wanna make me level up to 40, haha.
Meh... the game wasn't really shining in story, but what made it nifty was combat and all the crazy stuff that happens.

Also for the perfectionist you have many many many places to go and explore.
@Roxas-UrBoxas Yeah, I didn't find or do everything, I only did two challenge in Bowser's body. Some of the challenges I just plain didn't like, the ones where you have to do special moves for a long time, without messing up, not something I'd call fun.
Some of the mini-games are excellent... shooting the nerves, hitting the shocks with hammers on the knees or arms. I hated when bowser turned huge though, the mic thing got to me with the fire blowing.

Aside from that I think it's one of the freshest titles on DS to date though... aside from TWEWY.
What's TWEWY?
I also hated the mic blowing, haha.
@EarthboundX TWEWY = The World Ends With You
Ah. I got tired of that game.
Pfffftttt... greatest most original and innovative frantic twitch fest ever made on the DS and you got bored of it?

That's nuts...
Same fight, same attacks, same areas, same enemies, over and over, and over.
Hmmm... I never had that issue... chaining, different enemies on every different day, giant very interesting boss battles. The story kept me guessing and guessing, and the three playable characters that are so diverse in combat style from each other was neat in my books.

The pins were constantly changing and evolving, at one point I had six pins that required all different types of maneuvers to pull off... Blowing and causing speakers to stun everything, holding down to blue flame everything, stabbing to have lightning burst down, dragging Neku to shoulder slam enemies, all while paying attention to the top screen and trying to get the super moves up and ready to go, WHILE... passing a multiplier green puck from bottom to top screen based on combos to maximize my equipment and level up my pins.

I thought there was a lot to do and pay attention to... Seemed like a very finely tuned game to me... Did you give it a proper chance? It takes a bit to pick up the first 4 days are very story driven, but after that KAPOW! The pacing was excellent.
Oh, by the way, that 4 part rant on gamestop you posted was excellent... I loved it, I was right to follow you on this site.
@Roxas-UrBoxas I assume you already know, but that wasn't me, hehe.

I made it to near the end of the second week, got bored, and starting playing Bowser's Inside Story.
@EarthboundX It wasn't you that created it, but it was you that nudged me about it. Very entertaining. I loved it.

Third week is the best week. I'm surprised you weren't sold on the game when Joshua got his hidden powers activated though. Joshua sucks at first, but by day 6 of week two he becomes the best character in the game.
Nah, he got really good in battles, but it was still the same battles over and over.
Bah! beat it! I will it.
